Catholics of my generation are said to be some of the worst educated religiously and I'd have to agree. As my priest informed all of the parents at a CCD meeting at the beginning of this school year that it is likely that our children will know and understand more about our faith than their parents (unless those parents attended Catholic school, which I did not).
I plan to correct that as best I can. I'm preparing another blog The Old Testament in a Year that I'm kicking off around July 2011, and I suppose, like most bloggers, I fully expect to be blogging mostly to myself and that's OK. I'm blogging this for myself and if anyone wishes to follow along, well, the more the merrier!
I don't know how frequent the posts will be. Only time will tell.
